What is Permanent Make Up

Another name for it is Micropigmentation, although I feel that this is a slightly misleading title.  Permanent Cosmetics are exactly that . . . . Permanent.  Don't let anyone tell you they are anything else.  The procedure is basically tattooing, but not nearly as invasive or uncomfortable as the traditional form.

You and I will have a consultation to find out what your desired results are.  On the day of the application you will first fill out consent forms and discuss the work to be done.  Next the area will cleaned and marks will be drawn on to the client's specifications.  Once you have OK'd everything a topical anesthetic will be applied.  I will then begin the application.

The length of time for the applications will depend on the client's needs.  You can expect some swelling following the application, but you should be able to return to work if you desire.  You will be given instructions on how to care for your Permanent Cosmetics before leaving and a follow up appointment will be made.  Of course there is more to it than that, but I believe that I have answered the major questions.

Oops, I bet I missed one.  Does it hurt?  There is a topical anesthetic used to help decrease any discomfort.  My clients generally feel that I am very gentle and that they have found the application to be stress free.
